Countries: USA

Sculptor and painter, renowned for producing controversial works of art that challenged the taboos of his time. Born New York City and arrived in London, via Paris, in 1905. 1909 - 1914 had a studio at Roper's Gardens. Died at home at Hyde Park Gate.

Other works in London include two sculptures on the (Charles Holden designed) London Underground building at 55 Broadway: Night and Day, on the north and south respectively.
