Maurice Adams

Architect. Born Maurice Bingham Adams. He was instrumental in the founding of Bedford Park in West London, where he designed many of the houses and parts of St Michael & All Angels Church. In 1887 he was the architect of, and co-churchwarden of, that church. He also designed various other buildings in London, as well as fulfilling a number of commissions abroad. He published several books on architecture, one co-authored with Norman Shaw and another with Edward W. Godwin.
