Larry Forde

Pioneer participant in the Notting Hill Carnival. Luther Oscar “Larry” Forde. Flamboyan Carnival Arts was formed in 1985 out of two other bands, by Gloria Cummins from Elimu and Larry Forde from Sukuya, which he'd founded in 1969. Flamboyan was originally based in All Saints Road in West London, but after one year they moved to their current location on Fernhead Road and have been there to this day.

Cousin to Vernon Williams.
