John Sullivan

Television comedy scriptwriter. Born John Richard Thomas Sullivan in Balham. He had his first break with the sitcom 'Citizen Smith', and 'Dear John' and 'Just Good Friends' followed. His outstanding success however was 'Only Fools and Horses' which ran from 1981 to 2003. The series won many awards, and he was appointed an O.B.E. in 2005 for services to drama.
