Aged 35, at the time he was training for the 2013 London-to-Paris charity cycle ride for Macmillan. He was a mobile repair mechanic who worked on fire engines, one of which carried his coffin. Our colleague Andrew Behan has research the man. He was born on 26 July 1977, the youngest child of Brian J. Foley and Janet K. In June 2000 he married Bonita Mann (b.1978) in the Barking & Dagenham registration district and they were to have two daughters: Holli May Florey whose birth was registered in June 2002 in the Havering registration district and Lauren Kaye Florey whose birth was registered in June 2004 in the Redbridge registration district.
