Battersea Town Hall

A Grade II* listed building, designed in 1891 by E. W. Mountford (1855 - 1908) opened in 1893 as Battersea Town Hall. Sculptural work by Horace and Paul Montford. In 1965 Battersea and Wandsworth administrations were merged and run from Wandsworth Town Hall leaving Battersea Town Hall redundant. Saved from demolition it was Listed in 1970, became a community arts centre in 1974 and can be hired for weddings etc.

The Grand Hall was extensively damaged by fire on 13 March 2015
