Kingston Spiritualist Church - Foundation Stone 3 - Committee

Inscription

Committee
Mr J. T. Ashley
Miss M. Dutton
Mr Hardiman
A. H. Merryman

Mr R. J. Miles
Mr & Mrs W. Spruce

We've heard it said that no one ever puts up a memorial to a committee. Perhaps the rules doesn't apply if the committee are in charge of which memorials to erect.

The layout suggests that perhaps Miles and the Spruces were of lesser importance.
