{Inscription between the crests of Reinickendorf and the Royal Borough of Greenwich on a plaque at the base of the statue:}
Buddy Bear presented to the Royal Borough of Greenwich by the Mayor of Reinickendorf, Berlin, Herr Frank Belzer on the occasion of 50th anniversary celebrations of the twinning link between the Royal Borough of Greenwich and Reinickendorf, Berlin.
