Sherifat Adebukonla Mayaleke

Little information can be found about this person. The name would appear to be of Nigerian origin.

Electoral registers in 1967 list four people with the surname of Mayaleke at 10 Florence Street, London, N1: Adebukonla Mayaleke; Ayodeji O. Mayaleke, Aysdep Mayaleke and Serifat {sic} Mayaleke, but from 1969 to 1971 only Adebukonla Mayaleke and Ayodeji O. Mayaleke were listed at this address.

Sherifat Adebukonla Mayaleke was killed in the Moorgate tube disaster on 28 February 1975 and when her death, using this name, was registered in the 2nd quarter of 1975 in the London City Registration District, the records unfortunately show the date of birth as unknown.

It is also unknown where her body was buried or cremated. She is shown as 'MAYALEKE, SHERIFAT' on the Moorgate tube disaster memorial in Finsbury Square, London, EC2.
