King Charles III

Categories: Royalty, Seriously Famous

One-time patron of the Goon Show Preservation Society.

On the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II on 8 September 2022, Charles, the longest-serving British heir apparent, went from Prince of Wales to King Charles III.

November 2024: Back in February, following the announcement of the king's cancer diagnosis, we learnt that as London Bridge was to Queen Elizabeth II so Menai Bridge is to King Charles III.  Come November and the codename for the plan of events following his death has been upgraded to London Bridge.
