Dean T. Cottle

Dean Tonie Cottle was born on 9 May 1980. He was the younger son of Toni E. Cottle and Susheila Nirmala Cottle née Singh and his birth was registered in the Waltham Forest registration district.

He died, aged 7 years, together with his mother and his maternal uncle, Rai Mohabib Singh, on 18 November 1987 in the King's Cross Underground Station fire. It was reported that all three were returning home having visited his elder brother Marvyn Tonie Cottle (b.1977) at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.

The funeral of all three took place on 25 November 1987 at the City of London Cemetery and Crematorium at Aldersbrook Rd, Manor Park, London E12 5DQ.

Probate records show that his home address was 24 Terrence Messenger Tower, Olive Close, London, E11.

The subsequent fire investigation report described him as a schoolboy.
