Colin Ward

Colin Ward was born on 6 August 1950 the son of David A. Ward and Louisa C. Ward née Hemingway. His birth was registered in the 3rd quarter of 1950 in the Halifax Registration District, Yorkshire West Riding.

He was killed, aged 24 years, on 28 February 1975 in the Moorgate tube disaster. His death was registered in the 2nd quarter of 1975 in the London City Registration District and his body was cremated on 10 March 1975 in West Yorkshire,

Probate records show that his address had been 544 Lordship Lane, Wood Green, London, N22 and that he died on 4 March 1975. This was probably the date his body was recovered and his death certified. Administration of his estate was granted on 16 May 1975 and his effects totalled £7,245.
