This plaque was unveiled by Miss Pamela Bishop grandaughter {sic} of Annie F. Welford on 29th October 1982 to mark the 100th anniversary of the opening of theses premises as a dairy.

The plaques are on the white tiled wall below the Shirland Road street sign. Some photos of the unveiling of the more recent plaque, show it was originally erected below the older plaque, whereas now (2023) it is above.
