Newman Hall

Inscription

In memoriam
Newman Hall, D.D.
Homes for the aged, given by his widow.

Opposite is Newman Hall's former home.

Site: Newman Hall (1 memorial)

NW3, Hampstead Square, 8

On her death in 1922, Harriet Hall's will showed that she had bequeathed nos 7, 8 and 9 Hampstead Square as almshouses for pensioners. 2023: the charity the Newman Hall Home for Pensioners still exists, but we doubt these houses are still almshouses.
