Inscription

{On a blue plaque near the Crown Court corner:}
Fortuna
The figure of Fortune above is the work of Michael Hewan Crichton, 1882 - 1953, sculptor.

Known as Terpsichord/e, Fortune or Fortuna. Searching for information on this lovely lady we included 'Nude Girl' in our Google search terms - not recommended.

Site: Fortune Theatre - WC2 (2 memorials)

WC2, Russell Street

The SWET plaque is towards the left of the building. The nude lady plaque is over at the right, near the corner. The grand entrance with the wooden doors leads to Crown Court Church of Scotland.
