Building    From 1720

Cannon Hall

Categories: Law

A Queen Anne mansion. The name probably refers to the whole estate at the time, not just the house. About 1730, when the house was used as a court, a lock-up was built into the garden wall.
Gerald Du Maurier lived here with his family including his daughter Daphne. Used as a location for the black comedy film Bunny Lake is Missing, 1965.
