Musician and songwriter. Part of the original line-up of the Small Faces group, writing or co-writing most of their hits. In 1968 he left the group, storming off stage during a disastrous live performance. He went on to join the Humble Pie group, before following a solo career, Died when a fire, thought to have been caused by a cigarette, swept through his 16th century home in Arkesden, Essex.
