Lina Vella Calogera Lombardo

There is some confusion about this lady who was killed in the Moorgate tube disaster.

Although she is shown as 'LOMBARDO, LINA VELLA' on the Moorgate tube disaster memorial in Finsbury Square, London, EC2, she is listed three times in the England and Wales, Civil Registration Death Index in the 2nd quarter of 1975 in the London City Registration District, using different names. The three entries are: Lombardo, Calogera; Lombardo, Calogero and Lombardo, Vella Calogera. However, all three entries show her date of birth as 14 April 1933 which would have made her aged 41 years when she died.

The Deceased on Line website records her as Galaeera Lombardo and that she was buried on 20 March 1975 in the London Borough of Camden whilst the Find a Grave website shows her as Lina Vella Calagero Lombardo.

We are uncertain as to what was her correct name and have opted to use Lina Vella Calogera Lombardo.
