F. Brook Hitch

Categories: Sculpture

F. Brook Hitch

Born London. Lived in Hertford. RBS.

Our colleague Andrew Behan has researched this man, and found him at Mapping Sculpture, where the date of birth is given as 1877 which conflicts with Wikipedia's 1897. The MS date fits better with other dates in his career so we're running with that.

Born at 60 Harleyford Road SE11 (which still exists), one of eleven children of Nathaniel Hitch and Sarah Ann Hitch née Brook, hence his middle name.
