Charles Keene

Artist and illustrator. Born Charles Samuel Keene in Duvals Lane, Hornsey. He studied law, but abandoned this in favour of illustrating. He became well known for his work in The Illustrated London News and Punch magazines. Died at his home 112 Hammersmith Road.
