Sugar broker. Born Carl Julius Caesar Czarnikow in Sondershausen, Germany. He came to Britain in 1854, and established his sugar brokerage firm, C. Czarnikow, in 1862, which by the time of his death, had become the biggest in the world.

He appears in a list of "World's Richest People," Forbes 1996/8 and as a member of the 'Bahrain Monetary Council' in 1965. A tree seems somewhat inadequate.
