C. H. Mabey

Sculptor. His father and son were also sculptors and at one time the ran a joint business so it's not always easy to know who did what.

Also modelled the ornate dolphin lamp-posts on the Victoria Embankment and, according to Mapping Sculpture, created "full-sized models for the terra cotta enrichments on the facade of Hill's Bakery, London c.1887 which were moulded by J. C. Edwards (figure sculpture by Harry Bates)" but we can no more about this.
