SE6, Perry Hill, 225, Livesey Memorial Hall

The Livesey Memorial Hall is named for Sir George Livesey who was Chair (1890 to at least 1899) of the South Suburban Gas Company.

In 2021 South London News reported that the venue "... hosts various community, sports, and social events. Kier Property, which owns the building and land, confirmed it was “possibly” looking to sell, but said it “doesn’t expect” the use of the hall to change." But the locals are worried.

2024: This is Local London reported that: "Julia Webb claims that successive owners of the Livesey Hall in Bell Green, South East London have failed to properly maintain the building, which opened in 1911.  In 2023, a war memorial at the front of the building was added to Historic England’s ‘Heritage at Risk’ register. According to the public heritage body’s listing, the memorial is in ‘poor’ condition and at ‘immediate risk of further rapid deterioration’."
