Mrs Kirby's fountain

Erection date: 1900

Inscription

Metropolitan Drinking Fountain & Cattle Trough Association
Erected by S.F.K.

Site: Mrs Kirby's fountain (1 memorial)

W11, Westbourne Grove, ‘Turquoise Island’

This corner is well-supplied with water. To the left of our photo, closer to the flower stall there is a granite horse trough, very similar to those installed by the Metropolitan Drinking Fountain & Cattle Trough Association but this one looks very new and is inscribed: "Be kind and merciful to all animals, The Pembridge Association, 2006".
