Monument

Martin Dinnegan

Inscription

{On the marble memorial plaque:}
In loving memory of Martin Dinnegan, our beloved son, a dear brother and friend. Your life was taken suddenly at the tender age of 14 in such a senseless way, but your memory will always live on in our hearts and souls.

May the Lord guide us and strengthen our faith, until the day we are all together again in heaven, beside you and all the holy spirits where we will receive everlasting life. Amen

{On the brass plaque attached to the bench, alongside a picture of Martin:}
In memory of Martin Dinnegan
When people ask how we are doing, we don't know what to say.
Yes the tears are still there, only because we lost someone for whom we care.
As we look for you in all the places you normally are, we begin to realise that you aren't very far.
You're where you've always been in our heart, which lets us know that our lives will never be dark.
God we ask you to help us through these tough times, and to let us know that we will be just fine.
