When Wilkinson lived in a flat here the address was 15 Bloomsbury Street. In 1889, when their mother died, her three sisters joined her here. The household also included a cook and a housemaid. In 1896 Fanny and her sister Louisa moved to 6 Gower Street, very close to their good friend Millicent Fawcett at number 2.
The triangular garden to the south of this building has a name that is little-known: Princes Circus. A garden there was laid out by Wilkinson herself, but by 2012 it had been tarmac'ed over. It used to have roads on all 3 sides. Camden transformed it in 2023.
2025: Local papers reported the on-going battle over the Victorian drinking water fountain: the Council had pledged that this would be reconnected to the water supply as part of the 2023 transformation. This has not yet been done.
