Limehouse basin model

Erection date: /6/1989

Inscription

{At the centre of this circular plaque/low relief sculpture:}
This plaque was unveiled by David Ingman, Chairman British Waterways, June 1989, to commemorate the 1st phase regeneration Limehouse Basin.

{Around the edge:}
The regeneration of Limehouse Basin - joint venture - British Waterways, Hunting Gate Group

Site: Stephen Maynard, fireman + Limehouse basin model (3 memorials)

E14, Limehouse Dock quayside, Harbour Masters Office

This Harbour Masters Office has a rather nice 6-sided pagoda-like from. The model of the basin is on the mini-me brick pedestal. It doesn't have a roof - that is just an unfortunate photographic alignment of a porch on the other side of the water.

Surrey Commercial Docks has a similar model.
