Fountain

Henry Sterry fountain

Inscription

{Inscribed on the long plaque of red granite at the top:}
The gift of Henry Sterry Esqr.

{and on red granite lower down:}
1859

A lovely fountain, with its egg-and-dart cornicing and gaping mouth, which presumably is where the functioning parts once sat.
