Philmore 'Boots' Davidson

Pioneer participant in the Notting Hill Carnival. The Trinidad All Steel Percussion Orchestra (TASPO) left Trinidad in July 1951 to take part in the Festival of Britain. Davidson was one of the 11 chosen musicians. In 1985 the band was renamed Nostalgia.
