Muriel Kenyon

Muriel Kenyon was born in 1910 and her birth was registered in the West Derby area of Liverpool, Lancashire. She was the younger daughter of Harold Reginald Kenyon and Mabel Kenyon, née Foster. Her father was a General Merchant's Bookkeeper. The 1911 census shows them residing at 30 Lichfield Road, Wavertree, Liverpool.

She was killed, aged 34, as a result of enemy action on 9 February 1945 at Church House, 98 Tavistock Place, WC1, when the building was hit by a V2 rocket. At the time of her death she had been residing at 12 Draycott Close, Kenton, Harrow, Middlesex. She is buried with her parents in Section T, Grave 199 at the Alperton Cemetery, Clifford Road, Wembley, HA10 1AF. She is also commemorated in the Civilian War Dead Roll of Honour, located near St. Georges's Chapel in Westminster Abbey, London.
