Categories: Tragedy

Mohammed Shoaib Khan was born in 1965. He died, aged 22 years, on 18 November 1987 in the King's Cross Underground Station fire. According to his sister, Anila, he was returning home from his part time job.

Administration of his estate was granted on 29 October 1989 and probate records give his home address as Lordship Lane. The subsequent fire investigation report described him as a student.

At the BBC source this image of the young man is credited to Anila Mushtaq.
