2023: We were sorry to receive this from Tiffany Black, Michael's daughter: "I am writing to let you know that Michael Black who sculpted the Crutched Friars, died in 2019. He also has other works in public collections in London; bust of Alexander Douglas-Home in the Parliamentary Art Collection, and a bust of Sir Sacheverell Sitwell in the National Portrait Gallery."
