Martin Burgess

Died, aged 31, when a construction crane crashed, along with Peter Clark and Michal Whittard.

The BBC reported on the inquest. The crane was on the construction site for the HSBC skyscraper in Canary Wharf.  The three men were in a crane, called a climbing frame, being used to lengthen another crane. The inquest failed to establish why the climbing frame began twisting and then crashed 25 storeys to the ground. The full report is here.
