London Road Car Company

Categories: Transport

Former public transport company. It eventually amalgamated with the London General Omnibus Company and Vanguard Motorbus Company.

Maps are normally very helpful with buildings like this but this building barely appears: try 1893 map, 1894 map, 1938 map. But a site to the east is clearly marked as "London Road Car Company's Depot" and can be seen, just prior to redevelopment in this August 2012 Google Street View.
