Lieut-General Frederick Markham

Died as a result of serving in the Russian War 1854-6. 2nd Division. Son of an admiral, educated at Westminster School. Wikisource gives: "... He was just able to witness the fall of Sebastopol, when his health, which had suffered greatly by his hurried journey from India, broke down. He returned home, and died in London, at Limmer's Hotel, 21 Dec. 1855."
