Jazz drummer. Born in Leytonstone. He played with Oscar Rabin on the radio, and then for several bandleaders including Jack Parnell, Johhny Dankworth and Ted Heath. He also accompanied singers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, and Cleo Laine.
