Jane Desborough

Sister of Oliver Cromwell. 1636 she married John Desborough (1608–80), a soldier and politician who supported the parliamentary cause. He remarried in 1658 so Jane must have died before that.

When Charles II was restored to the throne he ordered the disinterment of the bodies of Oliver Cromwell and his supporters, including Jane, and their reburial in an unmarked pit in St Margaret's churchyard, Westminster.
