From Colonial Spectacles “John (or Jan) F. Groll was an architect and engineer. After completing his studies in Delft, he worked for the department of public works in British India….” We can't find out much about him, let alone a portrait so we are using his designs for the 1905 Peace Palace in The Hague - does the tower remind you of anything?
