Anarchist. Born Milan, Italy. Worked as a railroad fitter. One of a number of anarchists who were taken in for questioning following a bomb that went off in Milan killing 17 people. Pinelli was seen to fall to his death from a fourth floor window of the Milan police station. An investigation found his death to have been an accident. And Pinelli was cleared of involvement in the bombing. Dario Fo's play 'Accidental Death of an Anarchist' was inspired by Pinelli's story.
