Sadashivrao Nanasaheb Deshmukh was elected to the London Borough of Camden as a Labour Party candidate in 1990 in the Bloomsbury Ward. He was re-elected to the council in 1994 serving in the South End Ward.

The London Wiki Fandom website shows that he was the Mayor of the London Borough of Camden in 1995-1996.

Sadashivrao Nanasaheb Deshmukh was born on 20 October 1934 in India and came to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in 1962.

Electoral registers in 1965 list a Sadashivrao Deshmukh at 16 Primrose Gardens, Hampstead and from 2014 to 2018 a Sadashivrao N. Deshmukh, who was born between 1933 and 1935, was listed at Flat 50, Burnham, Fellows Road, London, NW3 3JR.

The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London shows a Sadashivrao Nanasaheb Deshmukh publishing in 1978 a PhD thesis entitled 'The Doctrine of Tainted Debts in Hindu Law'.

The Companies House website lists the four companies in which he held directorships.

His death, aged 82 years, on 25 August 2017 was reported in the Camden New Journal.

He is shown as 'Cllr. Dr. S. N. Deshmukh' on the Gandhi statue - Bloomsbury memorial in Tavistock Square, London, WC1 and as 'Cllr S. N. DESHMUKH' on the plaque at the T.S. Elliot memorial tree in Russell Square Gardens, Russell Square, London, WC1.
