Christopher Hugh Forsythe was born on 19 October 1956 in Lambeth, the son of Hugh Forsythe and Catherine Forsythe née Murphy.

After working in Mexico he moved to Madrid, Spain, where he met his wife Tessie Molina. In 1998 they moved to Basking Ridge, New Jersey, USA with her son, Jose and his daughter, Kirsten.

He was a foreign exchange money broker working for Cantor Fitzgerald and died, aged 44 years, on 11 September 2001 whilst working in their offices that were situated on Floors 101-105 of the North Tower, 1 World Trade Centre, Manhattan, New York, USA.
