Chelsea civilians killed in WW2
In remembrance of 457 civilians killed in Chelsea by enemy action 1939-1945.
The Quiver was "a magazine for Sunday and general reading" published around 1876-1925 in New York and London.
This particular dedication does not actually specify that the commemorated are only those who lost their lives.
Exists to remember, record and propagate among the wider British public the contribution of Poles to our shared, common cultural and historical heritage within the United Kingdom.
Founded by Dr Lettsom. Originally based in the City, the Medical Society moved to its present house, Lettsom House, 11 Chandos Street, in 1873.
