Plaque

Thomas Stothard

Inscription

LCC 1911
Thomas Stothard, 1755 - 1834, painter and illustrator, lived here.

Site: Thomas Stothard (1 memorial)

W1, Newman Street, 28

Nothing to do with Stothard but interesting anyway: Newman Passage, just south of this plaque, was the location in Michael Powell's 1960 film "Peeping Tom" where the murderer kills his first prostitute.
