To the sacred and loving memory of the Aloysians who gave their lives for their country in the Great War.

At Sea, on Land, and in the Air.
Duty well done. Rest well won.

{On each of the 2 flanking walls there is a 2-column, alphabetical list of names below the St Aloysius College crest which incorporates the motto: Beati Mundo Corde (the Latin beginning of "Blessed are the clean of heart: they shall see God"). The 59 men who died in WW1 are listed on the left , below "1914 - 1918". The 52 men who died in WW2 are listed on the right, below "1939 - 1945".
