Plaque

Southgate Village Hall

Inscription

Upon this site stood the village hall erected for the benefit of the parish of Southgate 1882.
London Borough of Enfield

Site: Southgate Village Hall (1 memorial)

N14, High Street, 151

Our photo of the plaque was taken 10 years before the photo of the building, and time had not improved the view, but, 2022, the building is looking more cared for. Probably erected 1950s/60s we like this restrained style, with setback top and side, and the play of different surface treatments (brick uprights, tiled panels and white concrete ground/first floor).
