Site: Sophie Fedorovitch (1 memorial)

SW3, Bury Walk, 22

Mansion Global's 2020 sales page for this charmer has: ".. former owner .. Sophie Fedorovitch ..occupied the home until her death in 1953.

"Interior designer and socialite Nicky Haslam, 80, used to be a visitor to the house. When asked in an interview last year about his dream property, he spoke about this home, saying 'there’s a little house that a friend of mine owned when I was young. It’s an all-white castellated cottage with Gothic windows.'  'It’s just one room up, one room down,' he said. 'But to me it’s the most romantic building in London.'

"The three-bedroom spread hit the market earlier this month asking £2.95 million".

Fedorovitch died, less than 2 months after her 60th birthday, in this house as a result of a gas leak.

As a designer, it feels right that she has such a lovely plaque.
