Plaque

Sir Noel Coward - TW1

Inscription

Sir Noel Coward, 1899 - 1973, actor, playwright and songwriter, born here.
English Heritage

Site: Sir Noel Coward - TW1 (1 memorial)

TW1, Waldegrave Road, 131

The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography says Coward was born at number 5.  This house is the end house in a terrace of 7 so we can't see how it could ever have been numbered 5.  But it's an EH plaque so we trust they have identified the right house.
