Anna Regina

Made for the portico of St Mary-le-Strand but it was never erected there. It has been in Queen Anne's Gate since at least 1708.
Sculptor possibly Francis Bird.

Between houses 13 and 15.  British History On-line tells us (and has a picture) that frrom at least 1710 a wall stretched across the street at this point and was only taken down in 1873.
