Site: Islington war memorial, 5 VCs and Ogilvy-Webb (8 memorials)

N1, Islington Green

In July 2018 the 5 VC plaques are laid into the esplanade in front of the war memorial, reading left to right: Parslow, Booth, Train, Sayer, Roberts. These are laid in a row, inter-spaced with blank stones.

The information plaque is laid into the grass, to the right of the war memorial. On our visit this was fenced off (not sure why) so we could not reach the plaque to clear the leaves and read it completely. We'll have to go back.
