Father Basil Jellicoe, 1899 - 1935, housing reformer, created housing for the community replacing the slums of Somers Town.

This plaque is identical to the one at St Nicholas Flats.

The white plaque above the rubbish rather dully reads "St Pancras Housing Association. This stone was unveiled by Sir Christopher Benson Chairman of The Housing Corporation, Tuesday 10th September 1991, to commemorate the refurbishment of St Josephs' Flats. Contractors: J Barr (Finchley) Ltd, Rabbett Construction Ltd. Architects: LDG Livingstone DesignGroup."
